The Metaversy Game Cards are playable items in Metaversy. A Game Card can be activated to gain a temporary benefit or receive permanent resources.
To Play a Card the player must navigate to their inventory, select a card and activate it. Once activated the card will be active for the duration specified, giving the player an effect immediately or after the duration has expired based on the Card Type. Once the duration has expired, the card will be removed from the player and destroyed.
There are currently two different card types available in Metaversy. The card type determines how the card behaves.
Effect: The Immediate boost will grant the player an effect as soon as the card is activated and for the full duration of the card. Activation: Once activated, this card will start counting down the duration. Once the duration has expired, the player will receive the contents of the card.
A Game Card can have different rarities, ranging from Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The rarity determines the power of the card.
In Metaversy, you have access to Game Card Slots. You can activate one Game Card per slot and the slot will be occupied by the card for the duration of the card. Every player will start off with one Game Card slot and can gain up three slots by increasing their level.
